This training was held on 2nd and 3rd at NAQDA conference room for potential hobbyist who are interested in display & maintenance of well managed indoor aquarium tanks. This interactive, two-day training guided the participants through the basics of

•  Designing & Constructing a glass tanks
•  Creating Attractiveness
•  Designing & usage of biological filters
•  Selection of fish species
•  Selection of aquatic plants
•  Internal tank arrangements
•  Stocking density of fish
•  Feed & Feeding
•  Fish husbandry practices related to indoor Tanks etc.

The course covered Fresh water, Marine & Brackish water species with practical sessions.

There were 40 participants including NAQDA officers. The lectures were conducted by professionals who are involved in the ornamental fish industry. The second day was most interesting for the participants because they were taken on a field trip to visit an actual aquarium (Beta Aquarium) and practicals were done there.
