SRI LANKA: THE IDEAL CHOICE
Sri Lanka has the distinction of being the first country in the world to collect and trade ornamental fish from the wild since the 1930s, an industry that is continued to date.
Sri Lanka is blessed with both tropical and cold climatic conditions. The pure and cool waters cascading from mountainous regions in the hill country and flowing in to streams and rivers, forms the ideal resource base for breeding and rearing a wide range of endemic and exotic ornamental fish species and aquatic plants.
A highly improved road network, efficient transport and telecommunication facilities, simplified export formalities and tax concessions, makes Sri Lanka the ideal destination for investors too.
